Miss Karina Thyra Cordova, the 5th batch alumna of Nakhonratchasima Buddhist College, Mahamakut Buddhist University, was selected as Fellow of the Year 2024 by Awareness 360,Malaysia. She joined the panel discussion “Did the Traditional Media Lose the Elections?” on June 2, 2025, at the Scandic Lillehammer Hotel, Norway.
The panel featured distinguished experts including American author and counter-disinformation specialist Nina Jankowicz; Paolo Cesarini, Programme Director of the European Digital Media Observatory (EDMO); Branko Brkic, founder of the project Kontinuum and Editor-in-Chief of Daily Maverick (South Africa); and Richard Gingras, longtime Global Vice President for News at Google (CNTI). The session was moderated by Jakob Nielsen, Editor-in-Chief of Altinget, a leading Danish news outlet.
In addition to her participation in the panel, Miss Karina also delivered a speech during the WEXFO Take Action! segment of the conference on June 4, 2025.
